In between backpacking my way around the world, I am definitely partial to a glass of champagne.
So when an exclusive champagne invitation to the F&F AW15 Show flew into my inbox, I snapped it up right away.
For this occasion I called upon the ever entertaining company of fellow fitness blogger and tv presenter AJ who turned up in the most stunning maxi dress with flawless makeup as per.
The sun was shining and we joined forces at Embankment tube station before heading to the prestigious venue that is, The Savoy.
Apart from the fact the sun makes me giddy with happiness and I was in the company of a good friend, I was more excited than usual for an event because... I've never actually experienced The Savoy before.
I knew I was in for a treat because noone had a bad word to say about it, but i had no idea what to expect...
The entrance boasted elegance before we even stepped inside...
I wore my fav new Miss Guided Playsuit with my white Boohoo heels, which was perfect for this transitional season period, to still keep my upper body sheltered from the breeze!
We were welcomed with a glass of bubbles and took a seat before catching up with some familiar faces and tucking into the treats laid out before us.
There were definitely two things that stood out from the crowd (plate) for me: The pork skewers and the raw chocolate macaroons.
OH MY. The Raw Chocolate macaroons. I swear i would come back here just to get my hands on another. I've never had a macaroon like it - ever.
Apparently i got too excited by my macaroon and ate it so quickly I forgot to take a photo. Oops...
The treats weren't about to end anytime soon. As i finished my last mouthful of chocolate heaven, Paloma faith took to the stage for a mini acoustic set.
I have wanted to see Paloma Faith live for AGES so I felt thoroughly spoilt and want to send a massive shout out to F&F for the honour.
Following Paloma's gorgeous set including hit 'Only love can hurt this' the AW15 show began...
Sorry to interrupt...
Just quickly before the show starts.
Look beyond the walkway and spot how stunning the interior is. This elegant and ridiculously dreamy decor echoes throughout the whole hotel and I'd be lying if i said my jaw didn't drop several times throughout the afternoon.
Those chandeliers!!
Okay okay, back to the show...
There were some really beautiful and individual pieces in the collection, my favourite being the maroon suede look jacket.
The only problem with preview shows is that you fall in love with things and then have to wait for the collection to launch!
I'm not going to wish summer away but I can't wait to get my hands on this jacket in the Autumn...
Once the show had finished, the press-filled room soon dispersed back onto the busy streets of London, as did we.
The sun heated us up within a few minutes of our exit and we were both seeking refreshments.
AJ and I soon agreed on our fate and headed around the corner for a SNOG.
Yes, you heard.
And we did exactly that...
SNOG yog silly!
My favourite way to cool down and refresh on a hot summers day & the perfect way end to the afternoon!
